Opportunity for Western Australian Clinicians: Pharmacogenomics Clinical Trial

If your practice is based in Western Australia, your patients may be eligible to participate in a cutting-edge pharmacogenomics clinical trial. This study is exploring whether medication prescription informed by pharmacogenomic testing leads to better outcomes compared to traditional treatment decisions based on standard clinical guidelines.

Eligible participants are patients aged 16-24 years old with moderate to severe depression. All participants will undergo pharmacogenomic testing and will be randomly assigned to either a pharmacogenomic-guided treatment group or a standard treatment group.

If you have patients who meet the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to contact the Perron Institute study team at PGx@perron.uwa.edu.au for more information.

Trial Participants

The study aims to better understand how your genetic profile may influence how you respond to medications.

If you, or someone you know, meets these criteria and may be interested in participating, please reach out to the Perron Institute study team at PGx@perron.uwa.edu.au for more information.
